September 2012: Best Wedding Supplier

Simply Rose Petals was rated 100% across all 4 categories, scoring us the Best Wedding
Supplier award.

July 2008: FINALIST Telstra Business Awards

Simply Rose Petals was a Victorian Finalist in the Micro-Business category of the Telstra Business Awards.

 



October 2006: FINALIST Swan Hill Region Business Excellence Awards

Simply Rose Petals was a finalist in the Best New Business category of the 2006 Swan Hill Region Business Excellence Awards.

 



July 2006: Admitted to the Australian Bridal Industry Academy

Simply Rose Petals met the criteria for national admission into the Australian Bridal Industry Academy. Less than 1 year later we won our first Australian Bridal Industry Award.

 



October 2005: FINALIST Swan Hill Region Business Excellence Awards

Simply Rose Petals was a Finalist in the Best New Business category of the 2005 Swan Hill Region Business Excellence Awards.

 



May 2005: WINNER I-Do I-Do Best Site Award

Simply Rose Petals won the award for the Best Site at the I-Do I-Do Creations Magazine Bridal Expo in Bendigo.

 



May 2005: Accredited as an Australian Bridal Service Business

After meeting stringent regulations, Simply Rose Petals was accredited as an Australian Bridal Service Business. This enabled us to exhibit at Australia’s largest bridal expo.

Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA’s)

The Australian Bridal Industry Awards are the pinnacle award for wedding suppliers. Simply Rose Petals is recognised in the Special Services, a very competitive category that includes everything from wedding gift registries like David Jones and online businesses selling butterflies.

Brides can vote for their favourite suppliers in the ABIA’s and rate them according to their customer service, value for money, attitude of staff and quality of product. Simply Rose Petals has won many ABIA’s and often scores above 98% when rated by their brides.

Simply Rose Petals was the Winner in the state of NSW with a rating of 98.40%

 




November 2012: WINNER Western Australia Special Services

Simply Rose Petals was the Winner in the state of WA with a rating of 98.37%

 




May 2012: WINNER Victoria Special Services

Simply Rose Petals was the Winner in the state of VIC with a rating of 99.24%

September 2011: Graduate Australian Rural Leadership Program

Sarah graduated from Course 17 after receiving the Rural Women’s Scholarship from the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

 



2008: Australian Anthill Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30

Selected from hundreds of entrepreneurs, Sarah was named one of Australia’s top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30.

 

2008: Smart Company Hot 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30

Sarah was selected as one of Australia’s leading entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by Smart Company.

 

2007: Peter Mitchell Churchill Fellowship for Horticulture

Receiving a prestigious Churchill Fellowship enabled Sarah to visit rose farms overseas and learn freeze drying techniques from the best in the world.

 

2007: Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors

After receiving the Commonwealth Government’s Corporate Governance Scholarship, Sarah graduated from the Company Directors Course.

 

2006: FINALIST Telstra Young Business Woman Award

Sarah was selected as a Victorian Finalist in the Telstra Business Womens Awards in the category of Young Business Woman.

 

2006: FINALIST Telstra Innovation Award

As well as the Young Business Woman category, Sarah was chosen as a Victorian Finalist in the Telstra Business Womens Awards in the Innovation category.

 

March 2006: Young Rural Leaders Course

Sarah was selected for, and completed, the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry course for Young Rural Leaders in Canberra. A highlight was being chosen as the Keynote Speaker for the formal dinner.
